NORGIPS® Start & Finish

Ready-to-use dual-function joint compound Start & Finish is a top-quality compound intended for joint filling of plasterboard joints with the use of a reinforcing tape and other mineral substrates in order to obtain perfectly smooth and even surfaces indoors. It is a dual-purpose compound intended for all joint layers on plasterboard joints (Q1 - structural, Q2 - finishing, Q3 and Q4 finishing thin layer made on the whole surface).

It is characterized by excellent adhesion and an increased efficiency of 35%. Its consistency allows it to be easily applied to vertical and horizontal surfaces. The compound can be applied both manually and by machine in layers up to 3 mm thick. Once dry, it is easy to sand and grind.

Meets the requirements of EN 13963.

• Mudding joints of plasterboards strengthened with Q1 joint tape (in fireproof walls Q1 mudding should be done with Norgips Start compound)
• Finishing mudding of plasterboard joints (Q2)
• Full-surface thin-coat mudding of plasterboard surfaces (Q3, Q4)
• Full-surface thin-coat finish mudding of mineral-based surfaces
• Filling scratches and defects on mineral-based surfaces
• Blending in corners in drywall systems
